Ryan Abood

Ryan Abood is a Vice President in the Construction Division at The Dutra Group. He has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on heavy civil and marine construction projects. Ryan has a proven track record of success in managing complex construction projects including levee maintenance and repairs, ecosystem restoration projects, and large barged rock operations, on time and within budget.

Ryan’s dedication to maintaining the highest expectations, goals, and practices for safety are exemplary, and as a direct result, projects under his supervision since 2021 have maintained a commendable zero recordable incident rate.

On April 30, 2025, The Dutra Group finalized the purchase of Petaluma, CA based Hanford ARC, a heavy civil contractor specializing in ecological restoration in environmentally and culturally sensitive resource areas. Dutra will operate Hanford as a wholly-owned subsidiary with Mr. Abood assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer.
