Senior Project Manager

Construction Division Senor Project Manager; Tasked with Managing complex construction projects involving everything from rock placement on shorelines to constructing concrete composite wharves.

Mr. Hutchison spent six years in the United States Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion program, qualifying most senor watch station of Propulsion Plant Supervisor, qualified to take complete control of one of two pressurized water nuclear propulsion plant on the USS Carl Vinson CVN-70. After the service, Mr. Hutchison want back to school and completed with a Masters of Engineering Degree from University of California at Berkeley in 1993.

After College, Mr Hutchison started work in the marine construction industry working for Gahagan and Bryant doing hydrographic surveys and dredge inspection along with Dutra on the -42 foot Port o fOakland deepening project. after a year watching the work, Mr Hutchison hired on with Dutra in 1995 to get experience doing the work.

Mr. Hutchison worked with Dutra in the Dredging division until 1999, when He took a break to run a small boatyard in alameda. Mr. Hutchison returned to Dutra in 2000 to work on the Richmond San Rafael Bridge, for the Construction Division and has been doing so ever since. Mr. Hutchison has been involved in projects repairing levees, building launch ramps, Cast in Place Wharves, Marinas, Tidal wetlands as well as assisting in estimating Future projects. Mr. Hutchison is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California and a member of ASCE.
