Purpose: Dredge and construct rock breakwater, boat launch ramp and environmental mitigation reefs for future small boat harbor.
Construction Activities:
- Demolition and removal of existing sunken barge and piles
- Dredge 20,000 cubic meters of material and place in upland disposal area
- Construct 30 environmental mitigation reefs from rock material
- Construct a 175 meter rock breakwater using land and marine equipment
- Construct 7 meter wide by 50 meter long cast in place and precast concrete plank boat ramp with wood boarding floats and 5 steel pipe piles
