Purpose: Restoration of approximately 950 acres of former salt ponds to tidal and managed wetlands to benefit a multitude of wildlife which includes site preparation, earthmoving, water control structures, riprap, three breaches, graveling of roads, and project design.
Construction Activities:
- Restoration of approximately 950 acres of former salt ponds to tidal and managed wetlands

- Removing and improving existing levees, construction of new levees and berms, excavation of channels and levee breaches
- Dredging of a tidal creek, gravelling of roads, three breaches
- Installation of equipment on weak and wet soils within partially submerged and tidally influenced areas
