EMERGENCY RESPONSE NOTIFICATION - Levee Failure on Bradford Island - FURTHER CLARIFICATION and UPDATE

More information just in -The Bradford Island levee has severe cracking....4" in width, 100 ft long, longitudinal down centerline of levee, with continuing deterioration, and without emergency response, total failure has been deemed likely by the Reclamation District’s Engineer.

Dutra intends to accommodate this emergency response within the Court-ordered allowable barge loading hours of Mon-Sun, 7am -10pm. Presently empty barges are being mobilized now, for delivery to SRRQ for early AM loading, and mid-day departure to the levee break. If things worsen and this emergency response turns into a State Declared Emergency – we will respond accordingly.
