Purpose: Upgrade the Moss Landing Harbor area
Construction Activities:
- Demolition and removal of existing timber piles, concrete
rubble, debris and timber logs
- Grading, paving and striping of approx. 3.5 acres of existing parking area
- Provide a boat washdown facility, including all utility hookups; provide storm drain system with pre-fabricated water treatment units
- Dredging and disposal of non-hazardous material; contruction for a four-lane boat launch ramp using cast-in place reinforced concrete slab, precast concrete panels, articulated boarding floats, pile guides, metal connectors and framing, stanchions, rub rail, cleats, rub strip and all other auxiliary items
- Provide precast, prestressed concrete guide piles for Boarding Floats
- Furnish and place sand fill material
- Provide rock riprap material for approximately 1000 linear feet of shore protection
- Provide precast, prestressed concrete piling for wharf and access platform
- Provide cast-in-place, reinforced concrete pile caps, beams and topping for wharf and access platform
- Provide precast, prestressed deck slab planks for wharf and access platform
- Provide metal railing with mesh for wharf and access platform; provide precast prestressed concrete guide piles for dock
- Furnish and install concrete floating system including pile guide frames, pile guide roller assembly and mooring hardware
- Furnish and install electrical equipment for dock
- Design, furnish and install aluminum gangway
- Remove all debris from site and leave in clean condition; perform other requirements as specified in the contract documents
