Purpose: Riverbank Erosion Control and Levee Repair

Construction Activities:

  • Produce, transport and place 212,000 tons of rip rap
    rock on the water side of the levee
  • Rebuild of the toe berms, including the anchoring of instream woody material
  • Protection of existing trees and landscape
  • Landscaping, seeding and irrigation
  • Placement of fascine bundles, instream woody materials, agricultural soil, erosion control fabric
